#6 Hegigio Gorge Pipeline Bridge, Papua New Guinea – 393 m (1,289 ft)
With a height of 393 metres, Hegigio Gorge Pipeline Bridge was the highest bridge in the world until 2005. This 470 m long suspension bridge, built over the Hegigio River, is used for transporting petroleum oil from Southeast Mananda oil field in the Southern Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea.
